Research and Development
The Research and Development Department works hard on the search for new forage varieties which may adapt to the different agro-climatic regions in our country. This Department also assesses their health and productive performance.
Through agreements entered into by leading companies in the United States, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and National Universities, GAPP has access to the best genetics sources in forage species.
In order to try to meet producers’ expectations and needs, the pre-selected materials are analyzed in GAPP’s Experimental Field in Pergamino, as well as, in the vast network of trials which are conducted by experts who work for INTA’s and National Universities’ Experimental Workstations. This makes it possible to assure that the new varieties and species we choose to be included in our product catalogue properly adapt to the various regions.
